Welcome to the Whats On Guide to Fife

Fife is a council area and historic county of Scotland. It is situated between the Firth of Tay and the Firth of Forth, with inland boundaries to Perth and Kinross and Clackmannanshire. By custom it is widely held to have been one of the major Pictish kingdoms, known as Fib, and is still commonly known as the Kingdom of Fifewithin Scotland. Fife was a local government region divided into three districts: Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and North-East Fife. Since 1996 the functions of the district councils have been exercised by the unitary Fife Council.

BTRDA Rallycross Final

Sunday 18th October, 2020

The 2020 Autosport International BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship in partnership with Toyo Tires will consist of eight events run over six weekends and will return to Scotland in October after a succesful retrun in 2019.

The final round of the Championship probably see’s the biggest surprise addition, but a very welcome one with the return of the Knockhill circuit which will be used for the first time since 2014. Some would say it is arguably the ‘best’ Rallycross Circuit in the UK and with upgrades planned before the event, it’s sure to be a great addition to the season.

Live-Action & Fireworks Event 2020

Saturday 7th November, 2020

On Saturday 7th November, Knockhill will be hosting its fourth Bonfire and Fireworks night. The Live-Action and Fireworks event will start at approximately 2pm (gates open at 1.30pm) and see a multitude of action on track, centred around Knockhill’s famous tri-oval section of the track, at the Hairpin. The Live Action Show will include racing demonstrations, drifting and end with a thrilling fireworks display at approximately 5.45pm with the event finishing at 6pm.

This is a family friendly event suitable for families with young kids. There will be plenty of activities on-site to keep the younger ones amused, in amongst some spectacular action on track. Wow, your children this fireworks night with a trip to Knockhill for a veritable feast of high-octane motorsport action. Remember, this event will run into darkness, and despite providing lighting towers throughout the venue we’d encourage families to bring torches and warm clothing.
