Let’s go racing! It’s go, go, go for the start of the 2020 Scottish Championship car racing season organised by the SMRC with their superb range of racing classes and super-slick racing format, featuring the return of Long Circuit Karts. With up to 18 races to entertain you during an action-packed day with qualifying from 8.30am and racing from about 11 am though until around 5.30pm (check the website for exact timings nearer the event).
It’s also our 5th Armed Forces Appreciation Day with all serving and veterans gaining free entry with any accompanying family members enjoying the concessionary entry price.
The Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) – brings some of the best bike racers and teams in the world back to Knockhill for three days of wheel-to-wheel action on 10/11/12 July 2020.
Knockhill’s twists and turns always produce stunning elbow-to-elbow action with the 180mph Superbikes from Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati, Suzuki and others. Many of the riders are ex Moto GP or World Superbike racers and add in a mix of raw up and coming talent, the battles for race wins are always fast and frurious.
A cracking support package will provide plenty of entertainment for bike racing fans, in between two awesome BSB races. Please make sure you join us for this special Superbike event, there’s three giant screens, trade stands, optional camping and 5 star VIP packages are also available for those wishing to make the most of their visit to Knockhill.
It’s finally here… the Super Lap Scotland Championship finale has arrived when all the competition and hard work of the 2020 season comes to a dramatic conclusion. Up for grabs will be all the class championship titles and the overall King of the Hill Trophy. The event will also play host the Paul Walker Tribute – one of our biggest show car events of the season. The Super Lap Race Series and Scottish BMW Compact Cup will also add a touch of high-octane motorsport to proceedings. Show ‘n’ shine competitions, parades, drag racing and car trackday sessions will add a further entertainment to the event.
The weekend of 3rd and 4th October 2020 will see Scottish and British rallying gear up for the biggest celebrations since Colin McRae became Britain’s first World Rally Champion in 1995. The event, will commemorate 25 years since those famous victory celebrations elevated British Rallying to world class levels. Taking centre stage over the weekend will be the second running of the invitational McRae Rally Challenge, last run at Knockhill in 2015.
It all boils down to this! The 2020 season culminates in spectacular fashion as the final round decides the remaining championships. From past seasons, don’t be surprised to see some all or nothing moments throughout the day as dreams are both made and shattered in an instant.
