KMSC and Scottish bike racing competitors head back to Knockhill for another full-on weekend of racing action. With up to 32 races, practice, warm up and qualification sessions the action will both fast and thrilling. On the track, see 600’s, 1000cc Clubman and Scottish Superbikes and other classes will race on the track at lightening speeds, often with only with the merest fraction-of-a-second separating the elite riders in each class.
The event will feature the largest gathering of Sidecars this year as riders vie for the prestigeous Jock Taylor Trophy, a Trophy that is known around the world, in memory of Scotland’s World Sidecar Champion from Pencaitland, Jock Taylor.
Scottish Championship Car Racing organised by the SMRC, has a superb range of racing classes, a super-slick racing format with around 16 races to entertain you during an action-packed afternoon. This time around the SMRC racers will tackle the Reverse Circuit at Knockhill – only the third time the SMRC competitors have sampled this layout at Knockhill. Valuable Championship points will be up-for-grabs as the leading racers jostle for the top of the Championship standings during the penultimate round of the season. Traditionally, this is when championship challenges are made and expect to see the best racers in each class battle hard at the front of the grid for those all-important race wins.
